The notice organizations publish
An organization using Parovia publishes its Parovia-provided texting number on its website, obituary pages, and printed materials such as service folders and business cards, with this notice next to the number:
Text us at [number] with questions. Automated assistant. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Terms: askparovia.com/terms Privacy: askparovia.com/privacy
The example below shows that notice in a funeral home's website footer. It is an illustration, not a real funeral home or a real Parovia number.
Two ways a conversation starts
- Text first. Someone texts the published number with a question, and Parovia's assistant replies.
- Say yes on a call. Someone calling the same number can ask the assistant to text them something — a price list, an address, a confirmation. Parovia only sends that text after they say yes, on that same call, to the number they are calling from.
Frequency, rates, and opting out
Parovia sends one reply per message someone sends, or one text after a spoken yes — never a recurring or marketing message. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time; reply HELP for help.
